Kids Eat Free This December – Handy Dates to Know

With the Christmas holidays coming up, I’ve been keeping an eye out for kids-eat-free (or very cheap) offers, as they can really help keep costs down during December.

There are quite a few running this year, but some have specific dates or app requirements, so it’s worth knowing what applies when.

Here’s a helpful summary of some of the better-known offers for December 2025.

Supermarket & retail cafés
Morrisons Café – Free kids’ meal and drink with £5 adult spend (available daily throughout December).
Tesco Café – Free kids’ meal with any adult purchase (minimum spend around 60p), typically from 22 December to 2 January on weekdays.
Asda Café – Kids eat for £1 all month, with no adult spend required.
Sainsbury’s Café – Kids eat for £1 with any adult hot main, available daily after 11:30 am.
Pausa (Dunelm) – Free kids’ meal for every £4 adult spend, running daily in December.
IKEA – Kids’ pasta for 95p (other kids’ meals £1.50), available daily from 11 am.

Restaurants
Pizza Hut – Free kids’ buffet when an adult spends £9.99 (runs daily from 8 December to 2 January).
YO! Sushi – Free kids’ bento box with a £10 adult spend (available weekdays from 22 December to 2 January).
TGI Fridays – Free kids’ meal with any adult main throughout December (usually via the app).
Bill’s – Two kids eat free with one adult main on Boxing Day only (26 December).

A quick reminder: most of these offers exclude Christmas Day, and several require a loyalty card or app (such as Tesco Clubcard or the TGI Fridays app) to redeem at the till.

Definitely worth planning a few meals around these if you’re out and about with the kids over the holidays.
